In the future, New York City is a maximum security penitentiary. Air Force One, while en route to a summit meeting, is sabotaged and crash lands in Manhattan. Snake Plissken, a former war hero must save the President, who is being held hostage by the savage inmates and he has only twenty-four hours to do it.
