Based on an H.P. Lovecraft story, Boris Karloff stars in a wheelchair as the master of a strange house in England. American Nick Adams arrives to marry Karloff's daughter, and discovers a huge, radioactive mutation-causing meteorite in the cellar. Karloff's wife is disfigured, and Karloff becomes a glowing monster.
